Absolutely NOT suitable for diabetics. Most or all of the mixes contain maltodextrin which is generally derived from corn or sometimes from grain/wheat. It's a filler substance and it has a profound affect on the pancreas. My physician and my diabetes educator said anyone with a pre-diabetic condition, diabetes, family history of diabetes or pregnant (gestational diabetes) should AVOID maltodextrin. Also, because of how the label regulations read, food manufacturers don't have to account for it on the nutrition info, only in the ingredient lists so if you are diabetic or trying to do low carb, AVOID. Maltodextrin adds NO nutrients and is just a bulking agent and is worse than high fructose corn syrup when it comes to your health in my humble opinion.
