| I have tried just about every low carb chocolate chip out there. Like many of the other reviewers, I was partial to the old brand. Similarly, I really liked the sugar-free Russel Stover chocolate chips that were discontinued years ago. There are now three that I like and these chunkies are one. The Sensato chips also carried on this site are another. The Sensato ones taste better straight out of the bag, but when you bake with them, they are equally good. The down side to the Sensato chips is that they contain maltitol. The down side to the Carb Counters chips are the price. The other difference to note is that the Sensato product is mini chocolate chips (I prefer regular size chips in my goodies), so the chunkies work better logistically for my preferences. I've been testing anything I could find for a long time. I hope this information is helpful. Oh, and it may be helpful to add that I did NOT like the chocolate chips from Bulk Foods.com. I would stay away from those. You can't go wrong with Netrition! |

| Ok, these aren't THAT bad..........I never tasted the old brand that everyone is talking about so I have nothing to compare them to. They ARE on the bitter side but I use them mixed in with my low carb banana muffin mix and my low carb caramel fraps. It gives that little chocolate kick and you can't taste any bitterness. For that I give them 4 stars. I don't think I would be able to just eat them out of the bag. Hope this helps someone. |

| I love bitter chocolate so I thought these were great. They have a strange crumbly texture but the taste is pretty good. |
