Love it! If you like the taste of a more bitter dark chocolate then you will like this stuff. If you don't like bitter chocolate then you should move along to another product.

These are a tad bitter, but great for recipes. I made chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies, chocolate chip cookies, stuck them in brownies, and melted them for the topping of peanut butter balls, and it worked in each case and tasted great.

Love Carb Counters Chocolate Chunkies - delicious in brownies, cookies, bars etc. Yes it's the Dark Chocolate, not the super sweet milk chocolate type. No Maltitol (thank goodness - the tummy reaction ugh) 91 percent cacao (the good stuff that has health benefits). These are best for use in baking not a snack straight out of the bag.

I love this product!! I have used them to make chocolate chip cookies and they turned out well. I used carbquick when making these cookies. I also use them as a dessert. I put them in sugar free cool whip for a little snack. They do have a very strong chocolate taste so if you don't like chocolate you may not like these. But I think they're great!!

I seem to be the odd person out liking this product. The bitterness is indicative of a higher cacao %age. The Lindt bars at 85% are also bitter but not as bitter as the chunkies. I tested this product on my chocoholic daughter. She loved it! Different strokes, I guess!!!
