    Okay, this takes a little creative additions. First, make sure you mix it very well after you added water and heated for up to 1 minute. Then add onion/chive cream cheese (low fat), and about 2T cream, and some liquid smoke/bouquet, along with some pepper. Thin with milk if too thick, and carefully reheat (don't boil it after added cream cheese and flavoring). I wouldn't recommend the product as made according to package directions - but using it as a "base" from which to make yourself a custom sauce, it works.
