I am happy to see you carrying these noodles as well. I ordered my first ones last month from Mfrg. The smell when you first open them could put you off, but don't let it. Rinse them per instructions, and then add them to your soups and pasta. I have used them in my homemade chicken noodle soup, and with my marinara sauce as spaghetti. The noodle does not have a flavor or taste, but takes on the flavor of the juice/sauce.

You need to understand that konnyaku products are 97% water and the rest is soluble fiber and minerals, esp. calcium. Konnyaku is not appreciated for its taste, which it has none, but for its texture. It also comes in big slabs or chunks that you can find in Japanese/Asian markets. The noodles absorb the taste of food they are cooked with, so you may want to dehydrate them a little before tossing them in a sauce, either by drying them with paper towels or by frying them in garlic oil. Do not buy them if you hate the texture of fried calamari (squid), or octopus. Konnyaku is like that and more. It is fun to chew if you like this kind of texture. It does not "give" the same way starchy pasta does. It seems more alive in your mouth, which I like. If you do not know what I am talking about, I highly recommend that you try this thing, but be on a lookout for a new fun texture experience. Remember, rinse well, and blanch in boiling water for a few minutes before use.

These noodles are wonderful! They are just like a rice or bean noodle. If you aren't sure you'll like the texture then go try one of those first. I personally love them and they are guilt free!

BEST noodles for the low-carb dieter!! These have saved our lifestyle, I can assure you. I like to make them with a soy sauce or teriyaki sauce, but they are also great with tomato sauce or anything! The texture is spot-on, and the taste is fabulous. We will always have these on stock in our home! HIGHLY recommend.

After you clean it and let it simmer in water (and drain again) it really does taste pretty good and works for pasta. I use the Hunts (no sugar added) pasta sauce and added some meat or sausage and rather enjoy it!

My life has changed since finding miracle noodles! I'm a huge pasta fan which adds weight around my midsection. The sauces are not the problem. So now I am able to eat pasta whenever I want! After cooking, I like to cut them up into smaller pieces for easier eating.

The best noodles I've tried of this kind, they don't have that fishy smell common to other brands of no calorie or low calorie noodles. They didn't need to have their taste and texture as disguised as the other brands and were a great addition to miso soup! Definitely order again.

I absolutely love these Noodles. They have changed my low carb life in the most unexpected way. I had totally given up eating pasta. Now, I can have my noodles and not worry at all about the carb count. I mix them with a bit of coconut oil, or butter, or olive oil....whatever makes you happy, works with them. It's much more about the texture then the taste, so be aware of that. These noodles seem to take on the taste of whatever you mix them up with. Try a bag or two before making a large commitment. I just ordered a case from Netrition and I can't wait for them to arrive. Happy low carb healthy eating!

I love the rice and the angel hair. After rinsing it I pan fry it dry for about 5-10 minutes and then proceed with recipe. I love to make shrimp scampi with it or add to soups.

We loved these. I rinsed well, boiled water and I added butter, salt and pepper to the water, I cooked maybe two minutes instead of 1, drained, pressed out some of the water with paper towels. They were a bit wet but the longer they sat on our plates they dried out a bit. I buttered them again, added more salt, pepper and some cheese and topped with meatballs and sauce. They were very good, they just took on the flavor of the sauce. We didn't feel overly full when finished. I just went in and ordered more and I ordered the rice. Eating healthy can be fun and delicious.

| I bought a case of the miracle noodles, and we weren't disappointed. We use them for salad, stir fry, casseroles, pretend spaghetti, anything else we can think of.
Just don't smell them before you rinse...
I am a pre-diabetic, and this product doesn't increase my blood sugar. Highly recommend! |

We bought the angel hair, and even my skeptical diabetic husband liked these. No, they are not spaghetti, but they do absorb the flavor of whatever you put on them. Surprisingly, pasta sauce sticks to them well. We like these much better than the tofu shirataki and will continue to make them part of our low carb lifestyle. If the smell would bother you, just simply don't smell them! Rinse well, and I did boil mine for about 5 minutes to soften a little.

As a gastric bypass patient with juvenile diabetes, I need food that won't pack on the carbs and undo all the hard work. This product is PERFECT. It tastes delicious, particularly paired with Walden Farms no calorie Pasta sauces. I can have a delicious satisfying meal and it doesn't add ANY calories. It's certainly a MIRACLE indeed. so easy to prepare and tastes just like whatever you put on it. I've just ordered 2 more cases. This is now a STAPLE in my diet.

I can't believe how good these are! I was a little skeptical about using them other than in an Asian recipe because of some of the thing I have read about them. Boy, was I surprised when I decided to make an Italian dish. I ate the whole plate and it was only 400 calories! WOW! Having the miracle noodles will definitely help me to not be tempted to go back to carby pasta.

This product is truly a miracle. I followed the directions exactly and stir fried them with ground beef, worcestershire sauce, oregano, onions and green peppers. The noodles alone have no flavor, but do take on the flavor of what you cook with them. They are the texture of cellophane noodles. These are awesome and I'm off to order a case.

WOW, The Miracle Pasta is exactly that! A TRUE MIRACLE! I rinsed an entire package and added it to my lentil soup like some of the reviews had suggested. I WAS SHOCKED AT THE WONDERFUL TEXTURE AND STRENGTH OF THE NOODLES. If I had eaten the regular noodles in the box from the grocery store and the same amount, my blood glucose would have been over 300 an hour later, but testing mine, I was only at 95. I set a 40 carb bolus on my insulin pump to cover the vegetables and lentils. I did not bolus for the miracle noodles AND I DIDN'T NEED TO. The full feeling I got from them lasted well over 4 hours to my next meal. I plan on purchasing these by the carton. I just placed a large order yesterday and I am hoping I can add these to it. I cannot wait to try the miracle rice. I haven't been able to eat rice in years! THIS IS A MIRACLE!

| I got the fettuccine of this "pasta/noodle".. they are Slimy.. nasty. When I opened the package, there was a displeasing odor. It goes away when you rinse the pasta.
They don't taste bad but the consistency is hard to deal with.
I won't buy them again for sure. |

I'm one of those love this product people! I occassionally want the texture of pasta, but not the carbs, once I start with real pastas, I just have no control. This product is an excellent substitute. I've eaten it plain with garlic and butter and enjoy the taste and the texture. I've also added them to soup and suggest that you don't cook in the soup, rather, prepare as directed, then add a portion to your soup/sauce just before serving. As netrition suggests, try this before you buy the whole case.

I enjoyed this product better than the tofu shirataki noodles. It was easier to rinse off the "fishy" smell in the noodles than the tofu ones. Will continue to use this as a replacement in some of my pasta dishes.

I am a pasta lover and these worked for me. I rinsed with hot water, dried with paper towels and then threw it in the frying pan with my onions and ground beef that had finished browning. I let it fry for a couple of min turning twice and then topped it off with 1/2 cup of Bella Vita tomato basil. The noodle did absorb the flavor of the sauce. :) even better day two as leftovers. YUM! I prefer this to the other brands of refrigerated shirataki noodles.

After reading the reviews, I bought two packages, then left them sitting in the fridge for a couple of weeks before finally trying them. The reviewers that said they were slimy weren't preparing them properly! When done properly, these noodles taste just like what you get when you order Asian soups in a restaurant! I rinsed them well, then put them into a pan with a 2 cans of low sodium chicken broth and cooked them for about 20 minutes. I then began to add Asian style veggies, such as chopped bok choy, onions, celery, shredded carrot, then added pre-cooked chicken. This was THE BEST chicken soup we've ever had! One 7-oz package was perfect for the two of us and we weren't hungry until dinner time!

This is not exactly a pasta substitute. It won't work well in most red-sauce recipes. However, it's a fantastic substitute for rice or noodles in almost any Asian dish you can think of. The downside is that it takes a lot of preparation before they're good. They come in a horrific fishy water that could turn anyone's stomach. You need to get rid of that water. Rinsing, pan-frying, rinsing again, drying. It's a pain and you'll be tempted to skip it. But if you skip it, you'll hate these noodles. If you put in the effort, however, they can save your eating plan. They are especially good in soup!
