Turn this applesauce into an awesome low carb breakfast-
Mix 3T applesauce with 2 T softened cream cheese. Split open 2 Joseph's low carb pitas along the outer edge and stuff with apple mixture. Dip pitas in a mixture of 1 egg, 1 T Splenda and 1/4 t vanilla. Fry in butter until golden and crispy. Serve with sugar free syrup. Makes fantastic stuffed french toast. :D
This may sound really strange but this stuff tastes exactly like McDonald's sweet & sour sauce... (but better!)which I have loved my whole life. Before I went low carb I used to attempt to smuggle packages of the stuff home with me for chicken and other food I made at home. I will continue to order this product for as long as they make it. It's not too sweet, has a fantastic texture, and goes well with just about any savory food you can put it on.
Whoa! Finally a really, really good BBQ sauce. I tell ya, I'd almost given up finding something low carb that didn't ruin the meal. Jok n Al is the best sauce I have ever tried!!!!! Low carb or not...it is really the best. It's kinda spicy and sorta sweet. It's nice and thick to boot! I would use this BBQ sauce whether I was dieting or not. It is far better than the Walden Farms, which only smells good. This Jok n Al just IS GOOD! Please take my word for it. I am very choosy and this sauce impressed me.
I love this stuff almost as much as the sweet chili sauce, which I wish to marry. I use it to make curried chicken salad -- mixed with some mayo, cooked chicken, toasted nuts (hazelnuts or macadamias or pecans) and whatever bits of fruit your plan will allow (one slice of pineapple cut into bits is very nice, or three or four quartered grapes) is delicious on some lightly dressed salad greens. I've also browned some boneless pork chops, sauteed some chopped shallots in the pan, deglazed the pan with chicken broth (scraping up all the brown bits -- do NOT use a non-stick pan for this), reduced the broth by half, stirred in a big spoonful each of Apricot Sauce and Dijon mustard, braised the chops in that until cooked through, reduced again, and added a bit of cream. Strong men cried with happiness.
YUM! YUM! YUM! The lemon curd is to die for! Very tangy and tart...not too sweet, with a fresh, lemony flavor! I made tiny tarts using carb quick bake mix for the crust, pressed into tiny muffin pans, baked til golden, then filled them with this scrumptious filling. This stuff rocks!

I have been using Jok n Al fruit spreads for years. They taste as good or better than most regular sugar brands. The quality is excellent! I would highly recommend this product!

I ordered this product with some trepidation because (in my experience) products that are sweetened with splenda tend to have a bad after taste. I got the grape jelly because the brand I usually buy does not have grape. The grape jelly is great! I had to look at the label again when I put the jelly on a low carb cracker. It does not taste low carb! Thanks J & A!!!
I love apricot jam and tried five of them from netrition side by side. This one by Jok n Al is my favorite for its intense apricot flavor. It tastes of California dried apricots (not like Turkish dried apricots).
I particularly like an apricot jam omelet: cook the omelet first and then fill it with a tablespoon or two of apricot jam. Try it!
This is soooo yummy on top of low carb ice cream. I can't keep enough of it on hand. We love all the flavors - Raspberry being my personal favorite. I'd recommend it in a second!
I have been eating the Jok n Al product range for nearly 2 years now.
I have found all of their products to be of the highest quality and taste. That's real fruit, real flavour! None of that nasty artificial flavouring!!
Specifically the fruit toppings are absolutely delightful. It's hard for me to recommend one over the other as they are all scrumptuous.
Some of my favourite uses are the obvious poured over vanilla ice cream, but also try them with (or without!) a little cream over some fresh fruit, cream cheese muffins, swirled in a baked cheesecake, or of course you can't go past a traditional pavlova with passionfruit sauce! mm mmmm
P.S I highly recommend the Sweet Chilli Sauce and pickles!
I have to admit my expectations were low, but this sauce is delicious! I honestly wouldn't have known it was low sugar / carb and I am not a normal dieter, so hate ANYTHING with an funny flavor. It has lovely raspberry lumps and a perfect tangy taste.
I've become addicted to it with Fage Total 0% Greek yogurt. Tastes just like a full fat normal raspberry supermarket yogurt, but with only no fat, 9 net carbs and under 100 calories for 7oz/200g. If I want it a bit sweeter I add a drop of liquid splenda and it's heavenly. Definitely plan to try it in vanilla and chocolate protein shakes!
Can't speak to the other flavors as I don't like orange or sultanas - but I really wish they made a plain Boysenberry and/or Apple Cinnamon.
Try it, you won't be disappointed!
