I have been drinking the shake for a few years. Convenient, good tasting even at room temperature. Allows me to have some additional food - ie good carbs in the morning - and get quick protein.

According to information obtained from the EAS company website, "Carb Sense was developed to help meet the needs of fitness enthusiasts striving to lean and tone...(and).. provides a blend of premium proteins including the highly touted soy protein isolate." I agree--it's a great product, and I truly enjoy Carb Sense because it is not filling, and makes a perfect pre or post workout snack.
Whenever I hit the gym, I usually trip or fall off the treadmill a number of times, as my feet are flat and I have trouble staying in the middle of the belt. Sometimes, I also have been known to inadvertantly hit the "increase speed" button when I am getting into the Springer show on the overhead monitors--and get up to 14 mph!-- which is hard to keep pace with. I've wacked myself pretty good when this happens, believe you me!
Also through the course of my three hours at the gym, I usually get hit in the head at least once with a 25 pound medicine ball (my trainer has an odd sense of humor!).
I have never attributed these mishaps to ingesting a Myoplex Carb Sense Ready-to-Drink Shake, nor will I ever. It would be another matter if the product caused me to cramp or affected my equilibrium. My issues are my own, but this is a product I will continue to order via Netrition and recommend highly!

The shakes do not have to be refrigerated for storage, but we do
recommend that you drink them cold for best taste. The beauty of
these shakes is not only their nutritional value but also their
convenience. You can take the shakes anywhere with you. You can
pack them in a suitcase or take them hiking with you. However, once
the shake has been opened, it must be refrigerated.
