Often coined as "red diamonds" on the Asian market, the goji berry has been cherished as one of the most nutrient-rich superfoods for thousands of years. Traditionally used medicinally by Chinese monks, the berry still holds a strong position in Asian medical practices today, and is respected in western circles as well. Navitas Naturals Dried Whole Goji Berries are a delicious way to enjoy this superfood, and can be eaten by the handful or used in recipes like oatmeal, cookies, cereal, and trail mix. Navitas Naturals goji berries are grown in the fertile valleys of Ningxia Province, China. Here, in their indigenous terrain, the berries are vine-ripened, harvested in the summer months, and dehydrated at low temperatures for maximum nutrient preservation. All berries are dried to a moisture content of 10-14% for a soft and chewy texture, and can easily be re-hydrated if desired. These pure goji berries are raw, kosher, gluten-free, vegan, and 100% certified organic.

Cultures with a long history of traditional goji use prepared a soup or porridge by blending the berries with rice, meat and vegetables. Goji Immunity Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Navitas Naturals Goji Berries
  • 1 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Pomegranate Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Navitas Naturals Camu Powder
  • Navitas Naturals Coconut Palm Sugar (or stevia to taste)
  • 2 Cup frozen Blueberries
  • 1/2 Cup Cranberry Juice (unsweetened)
  • 2 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract


  • Directions:
    Add all ingredients to blender, blend until smooth. Enjoy!

    Goji Berry Orange Pancakes

    Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Navitas Naturals Goji Berries Powder
  • 1+1/4 Cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 Cup Navitas Naturals Goji Berries
  • 2 Cup Brown Rice Flour (White Rice Flour ok to sub)
  • 1 Cup Buckwheat Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 Cup cooked Quinoa
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk or Soymilk
  • 1 tsp. Orange Zest
  • Coconut Oil recommended oil for cooking


  • Directions:
    Combine the goji berries and 1+1/4 cup orange juice in a medium bowl, and let sit for 30 minutes to allow goji berries to plump up.
    Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together rice flour, buckwheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
    Once goji berries are soaked, add almond milk, orange zest and maple syrup to the medium bowl with goji berries and juice, and mix together.
    Add the liquids to the bowl with dry ingredients, and stir until just combined. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
    Warm a skillet over low heat, and brush lightly with coconut oil. For each pancake, drop about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan, and smooth out slightly with the back of a spoon to flatten. Cook until bubbles form and being to burst on the top, then flip and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Yield: 16-20 Medium pancakes
