Try Lakanto, the golden all-purpose, all-natural sweetener. With zero calories and zero glycemic index, this one-to-one sugar replacement looks, smells and tastes delicious. Lakanto can be used like sugar in your favorite recipes, snacks and drinks. Every member of the family can enjoy Lakanto's great taste without worrying about calories. Since mouth bacteria can't metabolize Lakanto, it's kid-friendly too and won't cause cavities or contribute to tooth decay.
Lakanto is a proprietary blend of two uniquely processed ingredients, Erythritol and Luo Han Guo. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol produced through the fermentation of non-GMO certified corn. It exists in many foods such as grapes, mushrooms, cheese, wine and beer.
The other ingredient - high purity Luo Han Guo extract - is what makes Lakanto so unique. Grown mainly in the Guilin Mountains in southern China, this prized fruit has been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years, earning it the nickname, "The Longevity Fruit." Luo Han Guo is often used as a sweetener on its own, but due to its intense sweetness - 300 times that of sugar - it is impractical and difficult to use.
Since Lakanto has been formulated to match the sweetness of sugar as closely as possible, you don't have to change your recipes. It's easy to measure and replaces sugar one-to-one.
Lakanto does not absorb moisture, even with high heat and humidity so it won't harden with age.
Ok, I love Laknato Sweetener. I used it over the Holidays, and it worked as a wonderful Brown sugar replacement. I used it along with a little Yacon Syrup, and it was wonderful in my Pumpkin pie, and Cookies. No-one could tell the difference, and No-one had stomach disturbances. So, yes I will be buy this product again. I have tried many of the sugar substitutes out there and this is by far the best. Yes, it's a bit pricy, but the price will go down as more of us buy the product.
I love this stuff! It tastes like a light brown sugar. I've been using it in my jasmine tea to make it tastes like brown sugar sweetened jasmine tea that they serve in Vietnamese restaurants. It's fantastic. No stomach upset either. Until it makes me grow a second head or something, I'm giving it 5 stars.
I am completely sold on this product! It is natural, tastes like brown sugar with a tiny touch of maple, makes coffee taste great, and you can bake with it! I am nearly finished with my first bag of Lakanto, and have just ordered my second one. I will be on this for life. So easy to kick sugar after substituting Lakanto. I have lost 12 lbs in the last month, which I have been unable to budge for nearly twenty years. Thanks for offering such a great product and getting it here in a jiffy!

Smells lovely, like brown sugar. It is so expensive that I have not used it substantially in baking (at most 2 Tbs. at a time), and from this use, I do not think it adds brown sugar flavor. However, I enjoy it in my hot tea very much. Plain sucralose in my tea always tastes like it's missing something, but adding 1/2 Lakanto and 1/2 sucralose is much closer in mouthfeel and taste to sugar. It's like it adds a little of that sugar body. I once read in a cookbook that, in addition to sweetening, Luo Han Guo acts as a flavor enhancer to whatever you put it in. It does seem to slightly change the flavor of what you put it in, and so far it's been for the better, or at least for the "no worse". I love that it has no bitter aftertaste, and am grateful for another all natural alternative.
