Tastykake products are kept frozen at Netrition.com's warehouse until shipped. They do not have expiration dates printed on the boxes, but they have approximately a 21 day shelf life at room temperature. We recommend consuming them within 2 to 3 weeks upon receipt or freezing/refrigerating them to preserve shelf life.

These are the kinds of things you read about in the forums: Really good stuff, but when you get started, you eat so many of them that you blow your carb allotment. These are better than Twinkies. If you can control yourself to only eat a pack or two at a time, instead of doing what I did (ate the WHOLE BOX when I first opened them up,.. 12 cupcakes (36 net carbs)), they are a marvelous way to have a goody on a low-carb regimen. I think we grew a bit tired of just how delicious these are since cream-filled cakes (other than Boston creme pie) are not necessarily my favorites. Without hesitation, DO try them along with the finger cakes and decide for yourself. I tend to order one of these for every 5 or 6 of the finger cakes flavors. (ie 1 box cup cakes, 1 orange finger cakes, 2 vanilla w. choc.chip, 3 choc. w. choc.chip). I freeze and/or refrigerate them, pulling out one box at a time; after receiving them they are shelf stable at room temp. for about 8-10 days otherwise, much like a fresh bread product.
