November 10, 2019Reviewer: Lucinda in Missouri* Just was too bland.
-
October 24, 2019Reviewer: David in Florida* Spectacular! The buns stand up nicely to hold all the fixins a burger needs. Looks, feels, tastes, and smells like the hamburger buns I’ve always used. My wife (who’s more finicky than I am) gave me “high five!” on these buns. If they meet her standards, then I’m happy!
-
October 13, 2019Reviewer: Sue in Michigan* Love these!! They're a little tough but soften as they get warm. I've ordered these many times and will continue.
-
October 07, 2019Reviewer: Phyllis in Virginia* Great buns, makes a terrific hamburger.
-
October 05, 2019Reviewer: Karen in Wyoming* Great bread, next time I will mix up the type of bread, but I loved this bread.
-
August 31, 2019Reviewer: Sharon in Iowa* A bit tough. However, they are a great low carb alternative.
-
August 26, 2019Reviewer: Angie in California* Really good. I gave it a four only because I would like them a little bigger and stronger. Toasting or grilling first gives more strength and with a touch of butter makes them even more tasty. I love hamburgers and missed the bun until we bought these. I like the sesame the best, but they are good without the seeds as well.
-
August 23, 2019Reviewer: Stormie in Minnesota* Did not like at first, then I toasted them and now I really like them. They are very gd. microwaved for 25 sec. also. They are softer this way. Very gd. for us keto freaks. Will buy again.
-
August 22, 2019Reviewer: Lusine in California* Love these buns, great taste, toasts well and holds up well, definitely will be ordering more
-
August 17, 2019Reviewer: A guest* Bought these buns as my husband and I are on the Keto diet. While they were fairly soft, they had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. We used two. I ate most of mine, but my husband had two bites of his. We threw the remaining buns out.
-
August 02, 2019Reviewer: Debbie in New Jersey* Save your $$$$. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. Thin Slim much better.
-
July 04, 2019Reviewer: Renee in Mississippi* Great taste and texture. Very fluffy! Hard to tell it’s low carb.
-
June 29, 2019Reviewer: Joan in Pennsylvania* I love this line of low carb breads. Very filling and satisfying. I buy extra so I won't run out and freeze the packages. They freeze very well.
-
June 14, 2019Reviewer: Gina in New York* Love these hamburger buns! Throw in microwave wrapped in paper towels for about 12 seconds and they will become nice and soft. Great option when you want an actual hamburger on a bun!
-
June 01, 2019Reviewer: A customer in Illinois* Low carb, good size for commercially produced turkey or beef burgers. Soft texture.
-
May 29, 2019Reviewer: WENDY in Ohio* After being "low carb" since Jan and not being able to enjoy hamburg buns, I purchased these. They are "not bad" I will finish the package but I won't purchase again. Very hard and chewy and not enough like a hamburg bun to pay the price.
-
May 24, 2019Reviewer: Betty in Washington* Nice to have bread once in a while to prevent a craving from leading you astray. These I have enjoyed with, hamburger, chicken burger, pulled pork and anything else I can come up with. I hoard them to treat myself!
-
April 26, 2019Reviewer: Robert in New York* These buns rock!! A cheeseburger you can enjoy.
-
April 17, 2019Reviewer: A customer in Wisconsin* Another great product, great taste and texture, will buy again.
-
April 16, 2019Reviewer: ROBERT in Virginia* They have priced me out! Good product for rich people I guess
-
April 16, 2019Reviewer: Cindy in Utah* Terrible aftertaste. The texture is right but just can't get past the flavor.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulMarch 31, 2019Reviewer: Wayne in Maryland* Like the bagels, hamburger buns have the purpose of making it easy to eat something KETO friendly, like nice fatty burgers with bacon, cheese, and more bacon and cheese. They do the job as well as any burger bun. Do not worry about taste or size. They are a bit smaller than the buns I would normally use, but I can get a LOT of burger in there, and the taste of the meats and cheeses I wrap up in the bun completely overwhelm the "taste" experience. These things make normal life almost possible while maintaining a strict limit on Carbs. Great product. They do seem to keep pretty well the fridge too. Just keep them well wrapped and as air tight as possible.
-
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulMarch 20, 2019Reviewer: Leon in New York* If you are tired of eating bunless burgers then you need to try these!! I have tried making my own rolls but nothing comes close to how good these are. I have bought them a couple times already!!
-
March 19, 2019Reviewer: A guest* Great
-
March 01, 2019Reviewer: Jason in California* Fantastic product. Tastes great! Definitely missed burgers with a good bun being on Keto and these work wonderfully!
-
February 14, 2019Reviewer: Carrie in Pennsylvania* Great tasting and Keto friendly!
-
February 14, 2019Reviewer: Kathy in California* Very dense. More like a hard roll than a hamburger bun.
-
February 11, 2019Reviewer: Lashana in Pennsylvania* The bread tastes good. Actually, it tastes like the no carb bread from the thin slim food company.
-
February 01, 2019Reviewer: Laura in Washington* The product is dry and very chewy. If I toasted it in garlic butter and added lots of condiments it was more edible.
-
January 30, 2019Reviewer: Cynthia in Florida* Ok. Vehicle to hold my burger and toppings.
-
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJanuary 26, 2019Reviewer: A customer in Maryland* I wanted to find a good really low carb hamburger bun, and I think this comes pretty close. I gave it a rating of 4 because it is rather dry. However, to be fair, most very low carb bread products are a bit dry. I found that heating it a bit in the microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel helped. It also helps to toast it as well. I will be purchasing this product again.
-
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJanuary 09, 2019Reviewer: Luke* These are like a sponge in your mouth. They are dry and soak up any moisture you may have in your mouth at the moment. You may want to dip the burger in a cup of water first before you bite into these. On the bright side, they are almost the appropriate softness. Taste is a bit bland, but who cares, it's a bun. Not recommended and I will not buy them again, especially at that price!!
-
2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulJanuary 06, 2019Reviewer: Susan in Virginia* Ok so I gave this a four because no low carb sub is going to taste just like bread. I ordered about 100 dollars worth of this companies breads for my family. Initially i was a little turned off by the spongy texture which toasting in a toaster made no better. (I'm assuming because of the fiber) However I really felt moistness (don't cringe) was missing-so I melted butter and brushed it on generously-sprinkled the buttered side with onion powder then toasted the buns on my griddle and oh my, my burger tasted exquisite compared to my previous attempts with this bread. I now employ this technique for making toast, bagels, etcetera and now deeply appreciate this bread. So if you have trouble with that dry cello sponge like texture, before giving up on it, try it grilled after brushing on melted butter- i also just tried spreading the butter- but the melted butter just seeps in a bit better. Either way the marked improvement flavor and texture wise at a 2g carb casualty is totally worth it!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulDecember 17, 2018Reviewer: A customer in California* I bought these because of the great reviews and they are the best bread rolls for keto that I’ve ever had. They do get kind of dry when you toast them but that seems typical of bread substitutes, and they don’t get nearly as dry as some others I’ve tried. Most importantly they don’t fall apart in your hand! I usually take a frozen one & toss it in a hot oven for a couple of minutes, then slice it open and it is nice and fluffy on the inside, crust on the outside. I’m in!
-
December 11, 2018Reviewer: Robert in New York* I would not recommend it, I would rather use a lettuce wrap or just break my diet and eat a regular bun. The bread just masked the taste of the burger. I threw them out, there was no reason to eat them. They were disgusting, they were just not very tasty.
-
December 09, 2018Reviewer: Dena in Illinois* A little on the chewy side but definitely works as substitute for high carb buns.
-
December 08, 2018Reviewer: Jeri in Wyoming* The bun seemed a little tasteless to me so I toasted it with butter and garlic salt and it wasn't to bad.
-
November 28, 2018Reviewer: Gloria in Illinois* These are a game changer! Burgers on a bun for the first time in almost a year! So good! I could eat this every day.
-
November 23, 2018Reviewer: john in New York* They're fine.
-
October 15, 2018Reviewer: Cherreen in Alabama* Great to have burgers again. It is very absorbent so if you love condiments, use a lot.
-
October 14, 2018Reviewer: Cynthia in Pennsylvania* These are a little on the dense side (more like a bagel than a bun), but if you split them and toast them first, they are better in texture and taste.
-
October 12, 2018Reviewer: Gloria in Oregon* These buns have a good texture but they have an aftertaste that is difficult to explain.
-
October 10, 2018Reviewer: A customer in South Carolina* These are a good bun substitute but they are quite expensive.
-
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulOctober 05, 2018Reviewer: Derry in Georgia* Will continue to purchase for on the go meals. Yummy low carb bread. Just a little hard to swallow. You have to drink water with it. This is the best low carb hamburger bun that I have eaten to date. Really close to the real thing for low carb, low calorie or diabetic dieters. I appreciate being able to purchase this product for the convenience.
-
October 04, 2018Reviewer: Melissa in Texas* So glad I found these. I have tried several different low carb breads but this one is so far the best! Used a bun with my monterrey melt from whataburger and it was like I was cheating on keto! So good! Little pricey overall but worth the money.
-
October 03, 2018Reviewer: gail in Florida* These hamburger buns are great for burgers, pizzas, garlic bread. And lots of other things. They are soft and do not fall apart like other buns I have tried. Only 2 grams of carbs per bun.
-
September 23, 2018Reviewer: Lisa in New Jersey* Love these. Soft, great texture. Tastes like real buns.
-
August 24, 2018Reviewer: Tammy in Ohio* I love the Great Low Carb Bread Company pasta so I thought I'd try the buns. I did not care for them. They were really chewy and had a odd taste.
-
August 10, 2018Reviewer: Tina in North Carolina* These buns are great! Really enjoyed the texture and how they held up to a big burger. Fine as they are, but really good toasted. Will order again and again
-
July 30, 2018Reviewer: Greg in California* Not just a hamburger bun it’s a high quality bun that made a great burger. I plan on making a great French dip and low carb to boot.
-
July 19, 2018Reviewer: A customer in Massachusetts* Defrost quickly. When you have a burger w/ toppings and condiments you can't even tell the difference.
-
July 12, 2018Reviewer: Fredrick in Michigan* I was pleasantly surprised by these buns. They have more of a bagel like texture, which was perfectly okay with me. Last month, I tried the Smart Buns, but those are too thick and heavy.
-
July 09, 2018Reviewer: Kim in Oregon* Such a handy food to have around. This recent formula is even better than the last, and bigger, too. I feel they need to be toasted to get the right flavor and texture, but they work great for times I just don't want to really cook. We even made grilled Bacon/PB&Js with these buns. Delicious! I keep these in stock in the freezer at all times.
-
July 01, 2018Reviewer: Margret in Florida* Tastes good and helps me with my low carb diet.
-
June 27, 2018Reviewer: A customer in Ohio* Served for dinner and no one could tell the difference, although I knew it was a healthier option. Ordering again!
-
June 19, 2018Reviewer: Ralph in Maryland* Excellent products
-
June 15, 2018Reviewer: Robert in Florida* Well, it doesn't taste like regular bread. It's denser and doesn't have as much wheat taste. That's not a complaint though, the extreme low net carb count for someone on a Keto diet makes it well worth it. I've re-ordered.
-
June 14, 2018Reviewer: A guest* Very tasty, filling, and good. Has a sort of bagely flavor and texture. great for hamburger, chicken and tuna sandwiches. love the product. thanks
-
June 06, 2018Reviewer: Mary in Ohio* I can’t for the life of me, understand even one bad review, concerning these buns. THEY ARE ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THE REAL THING. I thawed it carefully in the microwave, buttered the inside and grilled in a skillet until lightly golden. I stuffed it with a cheeseburger patty and embellished the bun with bacon, lettuce and mayo. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Thank you, Great Low Carb Bread Co. and Netrition!!
-
May 31, 2018Reviewer: Lynn in Texas* Soft and tasty. Toasted up nicely with some butter
-
3 of 3 people found the following review helpfulMay 17, 2018Reviewer: A guest* I love these are available. They are a little dense and chewy, but it sure was fun to eat a 'regular' hamburger and not just the patty. They are a little too thick. I literally could not get my mouth around them to bite once I'd added burger and extras and the bread chewing kind of became center over the burger, but I've solved this easily by cutting each bun (they come uncut) into 3 slices instead of 2 and that means I actually get 3 extra buns out of each package, which brings the price down further. win/win!
-
May 04, 2018Reviewer: Kelly in New York* The ability to have bread while remaining low carb is incredible. These have a good taste and texture.
-
May 03, 2018Reviewer: Jessica in Colorado* I have tried my share of bread alternatives in the Keto and Paleo realms. This doesn't hold up for a bread replacement, if that's what you are looking for. When you bite into it, it feels like it's fighting against the saliva in your mouth rather than working with it. Immediately you get this feeling that it's going to take some effort to eat it. The taste is unique, not what you would expect from the smell. This might hold up better with a burger or something, but I'm not going to ruin a perfectly good burger with this hunk of weird.
-
April 26, 2018Reviewer: Michael in Alabama* Great Product...Just what I was I looking for in a low carb bread substitute.
-
April 24, 2018Reviewer: Amelia in California* I loved the smell of these, but the taste wasn’t there just as is. Sadly, they tasted pretty bad toasted, so they will be tossed and I’ll try another brand. I would not recommend this one
-
March 30, 2018Reviewer: Chrissy in Pennsylvania* Love love love them!
-
March 26, 2018Reviewer: Mary in Ohio* Oh my gosh. These are the answer to craving sandwich buns!! They are chewy and provide that feeling of eating a real sandwich. I'm not sure who invented them, but thank you.
-
March 23, 2018Reviewer: Myra in Florida* Great tasting, does not fall apart like other low carb buns. Wonderful and will be ordering more.
-
March 22, 2018Reviewer: Patricia in Oklahoma* Good !! Freeze them solid, then vacuum seal them into individual servings. I use one bun per container. Great with pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni !!!
-
March 20, 2018Reviewer: Deborah in Louisiana* WOW! These were quite a treat! We had not had a hamburger in 3 months! My husband went crazy! Thank goodness there is a company addressing these low carb options!
-
January 31, 2018Reviewer: A guest* I was pleasantly surprised by these buns. I think they taste better when I toast them before building a burger, but after a year of naked burgers I was in heaven! They are a little expensive and a little stiffer than a regular bun, but totally acceptable. I am reordering today.
-
January 16, 2018Reviewer: Christina in Indiana* I was not a big fan of these. It seems the bagels, the hamburger buns, and the hotdog buns are all the same recipe but just in a different shape. Very spongey and they do not hold together well.
-
January 07, 2018Reviewer: Claudia in Arizona* They are ok for low carb bread products. I just wish these companies would get the cost down. There are more and more diabetics in the world now and we need these kinds of products but the cost doesn't help us keep to a good diet to control our blood sugar. We can only order these once in a while.
-
December 27, 2017Reviewer: Stephen in Washington* I think they are too stiff for hamburger buns but wonderful as a bagel replacement. Slightly toasted with cream cheese and pepperoni slices. Fabulous.
-
December 15, 2017Reviewer: Robert J in Indiana* These are a good hamburger bun with only 2 carbs per whole bun. I will be buying more of them.
-
December 01, 2017Reviewer: Ronni in New York* These hamburger buns were excellent. I toasted them and used for other sandwiches. They didn’t crumble and fall apart like other brands have.
-
October 12, 2017Reviewer: Donna M in New Jersey* I was shocked how great these burger buns are!! I’ve ordered them twice- delicious
-
October 04, 2017Reviewer: Roberta in Michigan* Not soft but definitely wonderful to eat a regular cheeseburger again. Eating a burger w/o a bun was getting old.
-
September 18, 2017Reviewer: JoAnn in Texas* Just tried these today and oh my goodness, they were great! I've missed having a hamburger and thanks to these I've been able to get my fix. They are a bit chewy but not enough to bother me at all. It helped too that we threw them on the grill at the end to toast.
-
September 15, 2017Reviewer: Patricia in Tennessee* I have been eating low carb for a long time, and the one thing that I truly missed was bread. Something that actually had the taste, and texture, of bread. Well, this is it! I know that shipping this kind of product is always going to be more because it is heat sensitive -- and it is totally worth it.
-
August 19, 2017Reviewer: A customer in Missouri* These buns are a major component of my low carb diabetic diet and have never put my blood sugar level over the desired limit. I use them not only for hamburgers but also for other sandwiches with cold meats and vegetable garnish. Now that I am used to them, I scarcely notice that they are low carb, though the texture is slightly different from standard hamburger buns, and the price is certainly very much higher. In my situation I find this is worthwhile. I prefer cold-table European lunches and I have not had to give them up. Neither have I had to give up excellent home made hamburgers. I rate them four out of five because they could still be better, but so far they are the best I have found. I really miss them when I am abroad.
-
August 07, 2017Reviewer: Ginger in South Carolina* I ordered GLCBC's Hamburger Buns because I am just not loving "bunless" burgers, no matter how much cheese and condiments I add to a plain patty. I had my first one last night with pulled pork, since we haven't had burgers since I received my latest Netrition order (soon to be remedied-hamburgers this weekend)! I toasted the insides of the bun halves under the broiler in my oven, as per most of the reviews. And I am beyond happy! Yes, it was a bit "chewy", compared to regular hamburger buns, but not so much that I minded at all. I loaded my sandwich with pork, pickles and cheese, along with sugar free BBQ sauce that I ordered from Netrition. The bun held up well, wasn't "drippy", as in, didn't leak the sauce, and was just delicious. Since I keep these in the freezer, this is yet another staple item from Netrition for me on my low carb lifestyle that makes it possible for me to keep it up without regrets.
-
July 13, 2017Reviewer: Francis in Connecticut* Great. I haven't had a burger in a bun in years. I also toasted it. I need more!
-
July 06, 2017Reviewer: Deborah in Virginia* Very nice to have a low-carb hamburger bun that is not sweet, unlike the other low-carb bun I've tried. It is a bit like a bagel in texture & toasted up nicely on a skillet. I will continue to buy through Netrition!
-
July 03, 2017Reviewer: A customer in Texas* These are small so really a sandwich bun...excellent bread tho! Soft and chewy and toasts well too.
-
May 05, 2017Reviewer: Julie in Massachusetts* These hamburger buns have a great texture and taste wonderful. They hold up well and aren't quite as spongy as other brands.
-
April 07, 2017Reviewer: Samantha in Maryland* I love these buns! As a person who has to stay under 20 net carbs, due to seizures, this helps me stay on track and satisfied. Of course, it doesn't taste exactly like a traditional bun, but it's still appetizing and filling. It's so great to take one out quickly and make a peanut butter sandwich or something I'm craving that is so basic, but couldn't normally have anymore. It's the best bread I've had so far, including the homemade recipes. I just leave them in the freezer until ready to eat.
-
February 21, 2017Reviewer: Richard in New York* What a good substitute when you want a hamburger but don't want the carbs that come with a traditional bun. These are a little smaller than a typical bun and they are not as fluffy as I would like, but they do hold the burger well and has a neutral taste. I usually buy 3 packs at a time and use them for anything one might use a traditional bun for.
-
February 08, 2017Reviewer: johnny in Mississippi* Having only two carbs i wasn't expecting much but they are really good and even better toasted with butter. It is easy to stay on a low carb diet when i can have my cheeseburgers and also eat low carb pizza with pizza crusts from this same company .
-
January 01, 2017Reviewer: Ken in Kentucky* GREAT ... Perfect for a hamburger.
-
December 11, 2016Reviewer: Matthew in North Carolina* I must have gotten a bad batch as these were extremely spongey. It is not worth $8 to try them again. Neither my wife nor I could even finish a bun. I had success high hopes as their pizza shells were pretty good.
-
November 13, 2016Reviewer: Samantha in Virginia* Best solution for when you must have a hearty burger to satisfy your hunger. We tend to buy burgers at regular 'joints' and when we get home we eliminate the bread they come with and use these Hamburger Buns instead. Best of both worlds ^_^
-
November 12, 2016Reviewer: A customer in North Carolina* These are awesome! I don't have any problem with texture or flavor. I slice and toast the bun and use it for anything from a hamburger to sandwiches to buttered toast with eggs. What a GREAT solution for anyone on a low carb regime.
-
November 09, 2016Reviewer: A customer in West Virginia* Sturdy and fluffy. A real treat when eating low carb! Held up to burgers with all the topping and also made a great tuna sandwich. Love them!
-
October 30, 2016Reviewer: Tom in North Carolina* This is a great product for folks trying to cut "carb filled bread" from their diet. I have lost 55 pounds in 4 months on a Ketogenic diet. I am bread person. I love bread! Products from The Great Low Carb Bread Company from Netrition.com has allowed me to stick to my diet easily. The buns are not pre-sliced and my wife and I both like to cut them into thirds. They are pretty thick. The center portion is great to use for garlic bread, etc. Try toasting it in a frying pan using mayo instead of butter, so good and browns beautifully. Use for burgers, pulled pork, hot ham and cheese, and so much more. I also want to do a shout out to Netrition.com for keeping their shipping very affordable.
-
October 19, 2016Reviewer: Wayne in Texas* We really enjoy these buns! Great with burgers as well as just slice and toast as you would any bread or bagel. I've found that toasting first then applying butter works best for optimal taste. You will not be disappointed with this product.
-
September 11, 2016Reviewer: Joyce in Connecticut* Great with a burger!
-
July 14, 2016Reviewer: Nurita in California* Very good. I like to cut them slimmer so they are not as chewy and they make more sandwiches. Slicing them slimmer also makes good Garlic bread when grilled with oil & Garlic.
-
June 23, 2016Reviewer: Laura in Maryland* We grill a lot in the summer and sometimes I get tired of having a burger without the bun. These are really good when I want to add some bread. They are nice and soft and have a good taste, but are a little chewy. They don't give much when you bite in and if you have too many fixings or condiments on your burger it's going to squish out the sides. But overall, I love them. I've ordered them several times and just ordered the hot dog buns to try.
-
May 10, 2016Reviewer: A customer in Wisconsin* So awesome. Just bought for friends. Lost 48 lbs on Medi Weight Loss and this site is totally awesome. Loved the buns!!!
-
May 07, 2016Reviewer: Michael in California* Tried one of these for the first time yesterday. Took it out of the freezer, wrapped it in foil and put it in the oven for 13-15 minutes on 350. It came out perfect and handled a cheeseburger very well, including a slice of tomato and onion. It tasted pretty and exceeded my expectations.
-
April 19, 2016Reviewer: Michael in Florida* YAY Cheeseburger is Paradise. Nice to be able to have a burger for lunch again.
-
April 05, 2016Reviewer: Christopher in Maine* Had gotten used to having burgers without the bun once I started low carb eating. Was glad to see these and am glad that I gave them a try. Pretty tasty, kind of a cross between a regular bun and a bagel. Not very big but big enough for a burger. They are a little expensive, esp with the cold-packs Netrition recommends for shipping, but they are quite filling and have a lot of fiber. My only concern is that some of them were a little squished from either the warehousing or shipping processes. But, I will buy them again.
-
March 28, 2016Reviewer: Lori in North Dakota* These buns are the BOMB! I have used them lightly toasted with hamburgers, as well for sandwiches, or cut in half and toast to add peanut butter and sugar free jelly! The uses are endless! I've used them for open face sandwiches, made mini pizzas etc. Just use your imagination! These are not as fluffy as a reg bread but that's ok with me and the taste is very good. I just ordered some to send to my sister, Rachel for her to try. I hope she loves it as much as we do in our house.
-
March 22, 2016Reviewer: Andrew in Illinois* Great with Hamburgers or a sandwich!
-
March 08, 2016Reviewer: Sherri in Connecticut* These buns are wonderful. Put them in the toaster, butter them a little, and you have a great tasting bun!
-
February 21, 2016Reviewer: Toni in Colorado* if I could give this product 10 stars, I would!!! I was REALLY missing buns with my burgers. I had tried all sorts of homemade recipes, but most of them had a weird spongy texture or that weird "alternative flour" taste. When I saw these buns, I was skeptical...but I LOVE THEM! They are soft and wonderful...not spongy...they taste like a soft sourdough-ish bread. Even my husband (who just eats regular buns and hates most low carb items) LOVES these. he said they were even better than the regular buns! I will be ordering these as part of my regular meal plan from now on. Thank you for this awesome bun!!!
-
January 14, 2016Reviewer: Carrie in Oklahoma* I use these for hamburgers and sandwiches. I also thin slice them and use them for toast. It was wonderful to find this good of a bread product.
-
December 15, 2015Reviewer: Timothy in Connecticut* These buns are great! I've been low-carb dieting and found myself really missing the experience of a hamburger with all the proper trimmings, including a light and soft bun. Going bunless just wasn't the same experience, so I decided to give these a try. They're great! The texture is actually a bit more like a bagel than your typical cheap grocery store hamburger bun, but I consider this a good thing. They are very tasty and are so much like real bread, anyone would be hard-pressed to tell that they are low carb.
These things are also a real life-saver when I find myself craving fast food. I just keep a pre-sliced one in the car, and if I need to eat on the road I just order a burger with no bread from the drive-thru and put it on a low carb bun. Obviously fast food isn't the healthiest, but on those occasions where I find myself indulging, I don't have to worry about destroying my diet anymore.
I will definitely be trying Great Low Carb Bread Company's other products! If they are of the same quality as these burger buns I'm sure I'll be a frequent customer.
-
November 09, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Maryland* Taste was ok; held together well. It isn't regular bread; the texture is very chewy.
-
November 07, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Texas* When you just gotta have a burger from the grill, these buns will fit the bill. Not too huge, but the right size for moderate burger-making. We like to keep a bag in the freezer year 'round.
-
September 16, 2015Reviewer: Christopher in New Jersey* Big Fan of the Buns - they are perfect for hamburgers (duh) but also great for sandwiches and such. Taste is great.
-
August 30, 2015Reviewer: Susan in California* Oh so great to be able to eat a cheeseburger again and not a "protein burger"! These buns are quite good. My daughter, who is not on a low carb diet, said they tasted like a regular bun.

We say, "you don't even need the bun!" and happily eat our burgers bunless. But, we also all know that it would be nice to have a burger on a bun every once and a while, even if you won't admit it to your carb-hungry friends.
Well, problem solved. Great Low Bread Co.'s Hamburger Buns have only 2 carbs, and they are delicious! Great texture and taste.
And actually, they're really, really filling, too. Without the bun, it's easy to eat a couple of burgers and not feel overindulged. But, the GLCBC Hambuger Bun makes just one burger completely filling and satisfying.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJune 06, 2015Reviewer: David in Pennsylvania* These rolls are a life saver, if you're on a low carb diet. I like them as much, if not more than a regular roll. Much better than the bread, which i think has a funny taste. These are a little chewy, but have a great taste. Reminds me of pita bread, which i love. They are a little smaller than a store roll, but plenty big enough for a burger, or cold sandwich, and toppings. Sure the price is kinda high, but i can still make a great sandwich for about two bucks and be less than 5 carbs total. And that's with lots of toppings. I've even cut them in half and made buttered garlic bread in the oven to eat with low carb pasta. And mini pizza's too ... If you are missing bread, this item will hit the spot. I order a bag each week and keep in the fridge, and they keep fine until they are gone. I do not pay the extra for the cold shipping, but i get my order in 2 days because I'm close. I don't know if longer at room temp would make a difference or not. Its been 5 weeks so far, and im down 20 pounds, and having these makes it all so much easier ...

Every product I have tried has been great- especially considering the incredible low carb count. This has been a godsend. I have found the buns to be excellent and I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to have a real hamburger! Full heartedly recommend!!!

Seriously, if you are a hamburgerlar like me and doing low carb then order 10 bags of these NOW! I was skeptical so I ordered 12 packs initially. Made a burger and immediately ordered 8 more packs. Keep them in the freezer then toast the buns with butter or olive oil when ready to eat. Great job guys. Now work on some low carb French fries and my life is complete.

January 14, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Arkansas* These are great! If you're on a low carb diet, but miss bread, then these are for you. I sure hope the carb count is right, because they don't taste like low anything. Now I can have at lease one sandwich type meal a day without going over on carb count. I use them for a lot more than burgers. They're also great toasted, and with melted turkey and cheese. They're a little different texture than non-low carb bread, but still really good. Will definately be on my regular order list.

December 31, 2014Reviewer: Elizabeth in Arizona* I have used these hamburger buns like English Muffins. I cut in half and toast in toaster and I can make it like an Egg McMuffin, or put peanut butter on them. What a wonderful breakfast they make. They are also good as hamburger buns. Especially if you toast them first.

November 09, 2014Reviewer: michelle in Illinois* I love these hamburger buns. They are not soft, but more like a chewy Kaiser roll. It's so nice to be able to have a hamburger and not have to take off the bun. I toasted mine. I have tried Great Low Carb Bread Company's white and rye bread, onion and everything bagels. Love all the products I have tried so far.

VERY impressed.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJune 06, 2014Reviewer: Derry in Nevada* Being on a low carb diet, I have been craving a hamburger on a bun. While these buns are not exactly like regular hamburger buns, they are close. For me they have a chewy texture more like a bagel. They don't have any weird textures or aftertastes and are neutral taste wise. Overall, a fantastic replacement for regular hamburger buns that I can eat without jacking up my blood glucose as a diabetic and great for anyone on a low carb diet.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulMay 30, 2014Reviewer: Janet in California* I tried several other GLCB Co. products before to make sure I really liked them, and I liked them enough to try the hamburger buns. I'm really glad I tried them! They are great, and I have a new "go-to" meal when I want a super quick, delicious, and satisfying Low Carb, High Fiber meal: one pre-grilled beef & cheese Ballpark ZERO carb patty (nuked for 65 seconds) with all the fixin's on a *lightly toasted* GLCB hamburger bun!
It is SO good! I no longer feel deprived of a real hamburger, bun and all! And it's just as good as the fast food joints. We can have all the mayo, mustard, BBQ sauce (think Guy's SF 1 net carb BBQ sauce - YUM!!), OR even some salad dressings we can have (like blue cheese w/bacon), plus an optional slice of 0 NC cheese, lettuce, slice of tomato, sliver of onion, sliced avocado, or fry up some mushrooms, etc. Now, try and wrap your mouth around that monster!
The bun itself isn't huge, but it's big enough, and a frozen Ballpark brand 0 NC patty is just the right size on this bun. Nice dense texture, and each bun has 14 FIBER!! And only 2 NC! What's not to like?

3 of 3 people found the following review helpfulMay 10, 2014Reviewer: JOEL in New York* Been using these buns and hope there really 2 net carbs( independent companies can say anything. They do taste good and will hold the topping well. Varies from batch to batch though. I've gotten good ones and ones that taste like cotton.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulMay 07, 2014Reviewer: Jeanne in Virginia* These are worth a try. I've gotten good batches and I've gotten sponges. Some days I just can't force myself to eat them, no matter how good the burger looks. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything better to recommend.

10 of 10 people found the following review helpfulMay 04, 2014Reviewer: Thomas in California* The first pack of these was 5 stars all the way, the second pack wasn't even close. There seems to be some issues with quality control with some of their products. The first pack of buns were almost 2 inches thick and were light and tasty. They toasted up perfectly and had a nice texture. The second pack I got was completely underproofed. They were about 1 inch thick and were really dense and tough. It was actually difficult to bite through them. If I had gotten these first I would have never ordered them again. It's a shame that it's such a crapshoot and they aren't more consistent.

May 04, 2014Reviewer: A customer in New York* Buns are good, they are small but thick.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulApril 15, 2014Reviewer: Zach in Minnesota* These are a great option for being on a low carb diet. They are a little on the dry side, but if everything tasted exactly like full carb stuff then everyone would try to loose weight.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulMarch 23, 2014Reviewer: Clarence in Indiana* WOW!!!
These are reorders. I use Atkins to diet and these products really help me stay true without feeling deprived. Will definitely be ordering more in the future, not only for burgers, but many different kinds of sandwiches. The bread has a presence that can handle a LOT of items on the sandwich.

January 13, 2014Reviewer: Judy in Ohio* I wish they would slice the rolls and much better toasted.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulDecember 04, 2013Reviewer: Deborah in Oregon* The hamburger buns have the same dense texture as the bagels and the same great taste. So far, I've only toasted and buttered one, then sprinkled it with a bit of garlic and a bit of Parmesan cheese. They will work PERFECTLY with spaghetti, lasagna, or just about any other hot dish you'd normally have French or sourdough bread with. I'm guessing the dinner rolls will be very much like the hamburger buns but probably smaller. I just wish they weren't so expensive!! If the price ever drops, I'll give these a full 5 stars.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulNovember 13, 2013Reviewer: Jacob in Massachusetts* Outstanding! I ordered these on a whim but not having much luck with low carb bread products, I expected very little. I was delighted to find that not only do these little buns look and smell great, they taste great as well! Excellent texture, reminded me of dense rye, with a nice glossy top. Best of all? Not a trace of eggy taste, no strange aftertaste, and none of the bizarre gritty texture I have found with other bread products both home made and pre made.
I had two of these buns last night which was way more than enough. Ate the first one as it came from the package. Toasted the second one under the broiler and buttered it for a hamburger. Hard to choose which one I liked better, both were great. Your taste may vary from mine but for my money this is the best product around!

8 of 8 people found the following review helpfulOctober 19, 2013Reviewer: Marcy in Texas* I'd like to write poetry about these hamburger buns but I'll spare you the agony of reading it. These hamburger buns are way better than any store-bought product you'll find in the supermarket. They're more like dense and glossy bakery rolls, flavorful, slightly chewy, and perfect for burgers and almost any other kind of sandwich you can think of. AND ONLY TWO CARBS EACH! As a diabetic who has to keep close track of my carbohydrates, I can eat one or two of these buns with my meal and there's no impact on my blood glucose whatsoever. This must be heaven.
